This shot puts the trenches to the east of the corner house into a perspective. On the left is the Monkenshaw cabinet with the electricity pole along side, plus a telephone pole close by, while on the right is the corner house wall, and in front, a gateway through the garden wall to the rear of the building with Garwald House beyond.
